Finished Lip Sync Movie

Transactions and Muting For Lip Sync Video

We kept the same transactions throughout the whole video to keep it easy to watch. The transaction used was a fade in.  We also decided to speed up some of the clips in our video so we could get as much of the storyline in as possible. To do this we changed the clip and source duration:
After we done that, we also muted all of the clips except the claps and clicks so you was able to hear the sound of them in the music video and also they fitted into the music. We done this by clicking the clip button at the top bar of the page then scrolled down to the mute button:

Song Choice For Lip Sync Video

We chosen the song 'La La La' by Sam Smith for our music video because it was slow and it had a good story line behind it which was exactly what we wanted to use. Once listening to the song we knew that was the song we wanted to use for our video. After we chosen the song we then created a story line behind it which was a love story between a girl and a boy.

Editing the lip sync video

Me and rachel both took part in editing the music video. We used the same transactions throughout to make the final piece more professional and easier to understand. Me and rachel both agreed to which transactions used and finally came to a decision to which one looks better for the music video. we took a lot of videos and shots while filming and then uploaded them all on to the computer to start using iMovie. Eventually we both came to a mutual decision and decided which ones to use and which ones to delete. We also decided to put the film in a black and white effect. Throughout the whole movie, black and white was the colour scheme.

Costumes for our lip sync video

The actors in the music video will be wearing all black. Wearing all black in front of a plain white background will make the actors stand out more and also more professional.  i will be wearing a long sleeve black top and Emmanuel will be wearing black jeans black top and black jacket.

Location for lip sync video

The location used in our lip sync video was a plain blank screen. We used this as it was more affective and also made it look more professional. Using the blank screen makes the audience focus more on the actor or the actions such as the claps, clicks or lip syncing. For the audience to have their main focus on the actor is an important part of the movie.
